Who killed JFK? Fifty-two years later, I must still admit, I couldn't prove my suspicions beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law, but I have discovered and can prove dishonest governing is nothing new, and media cover-up, is far from recent history.
According to wikipedia. The first radio news program was broadcast August 31, 1920 by station 8MK in Detroit, Michigan, which survives today as all-news format station WWJ under ownership of the CBS network. The first college radio station began broadcasting on October 14, 1920 from Union College, Schenectady, New York under the personal call letters of Wendell King, an African-American student at the school.[39]
By 1932 the evidence of media influence in the American politics was already obvious. With the backdrop of the Great Depression, FDR became the President of the United States on the promise of economic recovery with his New Deal. The New Deal ultimately proved to discard the gold standard and implement social security. Also through this time, the condition of President Roosevelt's health was closely guarded. That is not to say he kept his paralysis a secret, but the secret service men were known to grab cameras and rip out film, press passes not withstanding. The images of FDR definitely downplayed his disability, and now as digital history is being explained, the press simply had more important things to cover than the health of the US President . . .
I guess my point for including the leadership and press from the 30's, it appears, historically speaking, once news went beyond the written word, appearance and influence became entwined with journalism. Whether FDR's handicap was hidden or downplayed, it was not considered to be information for the general population. Whether the media was kept from covering or covering up . . . again, we now have digital history to tell us what we are to believe. The 1970 World Book entry of Franklin Delano Roosevelt dedicated all of about 4 paragraphs to the polio, in the lengthy entry covering a number of pages. In his campaigning, he used braces and a cane. There's no indication that he hid the fact he'd had polio, but he did attempt to walk or stand in most of his public appearances. The wheelchair was relegated to the private background, behind the scenes of speeches and photo ops.
Radio and newspapers were the only source of news, and radio was relatively new. The media, even back then established what would be the political information for the general population. The press secretaries and the secret service determined the photos that would appear. My point is certainly not to disrespect President Roosevelt nor even infer that a disability should be held against him or anyone, but rather to demonstrate the power of the government and the media to contain and filter what the people can know. FDR was elected 21 years before the assassination of JFK. This control of the media, or media control has been going on a very long time!
I just can't help but wondering. Are we free, because "they" tell us we're free? Are we only kidding ourselves to think we are informed? Will the Warren Commission Report stand throughout time, as a tribute to our gullibility? How many lies have "they" told us? How many lies have we chosen to believe?
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth . . . that they should believe a lie: From a New Testament letter to an early democracy.

In Other News
As news of Bruce Jenner's confusion filled the headlines and social media, there was much more going on that seems truly less confusing, but ominously overwhelming and potentially life altering.
While Congress is playing politics about invading our privacy with phone surveillance, the Pentagon apparently sent live Anthrax to over fifty labs in 17 different states, Washington DC, and three other countries. Anthrax is deadly and the Pentagon is in charge of the military. I'm not sure what will happen in these 17 states, but foreign entities may react strongly to this discovery. Fortunately for us, all three countries are allies, at least they were before the Anthrax.
The weather has caused some areas in some states to be declared disasters due to flooding and storms, which means FEMA to the rescue. There were 13 states listed for federal assistance so far in 2015. Now some, were for late winter storms, while others are as recent as last week. Seven states were listed since the spring season began, but I was unable to determine when or if FEMA had left or if the presence of this agency has remained.
Racial tension was exceedingly high in Missouri late last summer and into autumn with continuing non-resolution and federal oversight, while Baltimore, MD has become a treacherous with nearly a stand down police force. New York continues to experience race and police issues. All three of these situations have not been resolved to date, but have become hotspots of potential federal policing or military guard.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, bird flu has been reported in several states, with over 45 million chickens and turkeys destroyed. Large poultry operations in some states have suffered tremendous loss, which will ultimately result in two things. The food supply will be reduced, and some farmers will not be able to recover. For the powers that be, that means even more control of the food and probably some land in mortgage foreclosure. Since bird flu has been "discussed" and studies funded for ten years now, there's probably not much time until it mutates and becomes a human illness as well.
All of this in the "background" while those of us following the expansion of Operation Jade Helm 15 are being called conspiracy theorists. A military operation that includes all the southern states except Alabama is not a theory, it's a published fact. Now, if untruth is being published, that's another issue, but it still doesn't make the reader the conspiracy theorist. This military operation also includes the state that houses the agency that sent the live Anthrax.
In making a list of states affected or involved in just the previously stated issues, and taking note of the overlap, I was shocked. Keep in mind, the previous paragraphs do not address the long forgotten Ebola virus, states reporting listeria, potential tick diseases or "disease outbreaks" from summer vacations at theme parks and cruises.
California and Texas made more than one of the lists, but this is the reality. Between areas declared disasters from storms, USDA regulation of bird flu, racial tensions, live anthrax, and Operation Jade Helm, not to mention Michigan's surprise military exercises; 36 states and Washington DC are on these four lists. That is 75% of the contiguous 48! And the timing?
Now that we have entered the time prophesied in which evil is called good and good is evil, is discernment being labeled conspiracy theorist? Will wisdom and knowledge soon be called dissonance? Even though Paul penned Romans 13:1-2, we need to remember he must have come to a place of that he had to choose between The Word and Rome, as he was executed by the Roman government.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the
end shall be saved. ~ words of Messiah

Divided for the Conquering . . .
By now, most of us have realized, having a black president did not relax racial tension. On the contrary, the tension seems to be heightened, while our President and First Lady continue to draw attention to racial conflict. Undoubtedly, there are white racists in this country, but there are also black race baiters. Meanwhile young people of all races are watching, believing the programming they are being fed from the side in which they are standing. For whatever reason, tolerance calls us to hate bigots while baiters are given a free pass. This country is, once again, racially divided. Ferguson, MO and Baltimore, MD appear to have stepped back in time, and now college campuses offer "ethnic safe spaces." The author of the article linked makes no bones about the fact, color speaks louder than freedom of the press.
Religious division is really gaining ground, even amongst those who claim the same basic beliefs. Every week, I find at least two articles addressing the exodus from the church. Then there are the various factions of the latest Hebraic movement that really seem rather denominational in their grouping and discussion. The anti-religious seem to be able to unite in their anti-theism and are sadly gaining numbers and power over the public square. The division is quite real, and the aggression against those with different beliefs is gaining momentum. While the evangelicals tend to be divided Sunday morning, they are politically united at the polls.
Law enforcement is becoming quite militarized and while I do believe we still have some good cops, I also know there are some ruthless bad ones. The police brutality has caused much division racially, as well as a general tone of "them vs. us" for a number of years, and now the biker situation in Texas has raised even more skepticism and distrust. The truth is, when there is a bad guy breaking and entering, 911 is the link to our beloved law enforcement that is there to protect and serve. On the other hand, when cruising down the highway and we see the lights on top of the car, the "them vs. us" is apparent with our own adrenaline charge and memory of every brutality video on the net.
There has been a generation gap since the dawn of creation, and along with that, the different standard of morality. A decline in standards is a rapid drop. Adam and Eve with their forbidden fruit, to the next generation committing murder speaks of the rapid decline of civility in this world. The generational blame that has occurred in this country, I find to be quite, stale; for lack of a better word. We all know the baby boomers economically and morally destroyed America and are destroying what's left . . . Although the blame rolls off my shoulders like water off a duck's back, I will admit the boomers, as a whole sold out and haven't done much to improve the situation. The generational division has always been, but the blame, well maybe . . . much of the church still teaches everyone is paying for past generational sins all the way back to the Garden. Perhaps we lack the civility to not let a different perspective divide us; but blaming each other will absolutely bring division.
The Supreme Court is about to serve up a whopping dish of division with the same sex marriage decision coming in June. There is NO way this will not bring division. If they render a decision against same sex marriage, the gay agenda will explode. If the decision is in favor of same sex marriage, the Supreme Court has exalted itself above Scripture, which will result in calamity of Biblical proportion. This division will be the ultimate LOSE/LOSE for our society. LGBT has made no bones about it. They are aggressive and will be relentless. In the 2013 decision regarding DOMA, as the LGBT representatives stood on the steps in Washington a spokesperson for the group stated, "this is not enough." From what I can see, the agenda wants our children, our businesses, our money, and our submission, and I don't know if that will be enough!
Thanks to mainstream media, every small glitch, and every misunderstanding can now be exaggerated internationally and blown completely out of proportion, while lacking context and be quoted as truth, while we all state, "I just don't trust mainstream media." I find myself leaning toward news sources that are definitely outside of mainstream, yet fact checking can be very difficult and I certainly do not want to give a false report. All things considered, though, fact checking mainstream media, doesn't offer much reassurance either. Operation Jade Helm 15 continues to be downplayed in the news officially, while those of us trying to keep it on the radar are billed as conspiracy theorists. More division, always more division.
Sadly, our politics appears to be divided by all of the divisive topics . . . Or perhaps, our politics are simply choreographed to give the appearance of party division, rather than the true division which is between "the powers that be" and "we the people." Since that line appears to be based upon wealth, perhaps it's time to stop watching the politicians for leadership, and stop listening to the media for answers, and realize the love of money is the root of all evil and the only true refuge is found in our Creator.

Deepening the Division
As I sit here thinking of the term "United States of America," I can't think of one thing in which Americans are fully united. Not one thing. We are however, absolutely and vocally divided on a number of issues. This will only gain momentum as another presidential campaign is now beginning. Over 18 months to go and the expletives and name calling has already commenced. If I were voting, I can say with all certainty, my vote would depend greatly, not on just the candidate, but their supporters. The extreme closed-mindedness of both parties sound like haters and I just don't really want haters determining the leader of our nation, but since judgment is inevitable, the hate will increase. I've never voted for a republican presidential candidate, and won't; but at least the republicans/conservatives admit they are closed minded, albeit proudly, they do admit it. The hate spewing, tolerant progressives seem to be in absolute denial of their own intolerance and closed mindedness, and that is frightening!
The division in our country, I believe will even become physically or naturally displayed, before it's all said and done. It seems even after fifty years of civil rights and desegregation, much of our country is still divided by something so superficial as skin tone. As a brown person, I do have to admit, often when it comes to ethnicity, there are cultural differences, creating differences in perspective. This should in no way create moral differences, or even give base for bigotry, but sadly it often does. There are many examples of racial issues once again coming to violent divisions. The racial division appears to be the segue between politics and the "them vs. us" of law enforcement. Statistically, the majority of republicans tended to be white, while the various ethnic groups tend to vote democrat, but that appears to be changing. Mix in what now appears to be racial profiling with law enforcement and the divisive wedge is driven deep.
"Them vs. Us" with a more militarized law enforcement not only divides the people from the enforcers, but also re-enforces the divisions outlined in the previous paragraphs. Local law enforcement has become quite militarized with even more on the horizon with Operation Jade Helm 15. Several southern states are literally going to be inundated, or already are . . . with military drills and exercises, as if the citizens are the problem. What could possibly go wrong there?
Whether the event of Operation Jade Helm 15 comes to a peaceful conclusion, or ushers in martial law, remains to be seen. Meanwhile the sexual agenda is definitely gaining ground crying minority and bigotry. The LGBTQ Agenda is powerful, and it is relentless, and it is aggressive. And that statement earns me the title of homophobe, which is completely inaccurate. Phobia is a fear and I'm not afraid of the agenda, I'm simply making an observation about the agenda. When campaigning in '07 and '08, then Senator Obama stated his views on marriage were traditional. Now, in the highest elected office of this nation, he's had a change of heart. Tell me this agenda is not powerful! Not only is this agenda powerful, it has one clear, very clear target in the crosshairs: The Bible, and the believers thereof. Sadly, while the LGBTQ agenda is creating a flaming distraction, another fire is gaining momentum on the same platform aiming at the same target.
Islam appears to be wielding swords in power plays in other countries, but it's more subtle here. Islam appears to have taken its cues from other agendas. Sword wielding enemies are fought, but "misunderstood minorities" are tolerated, accommodated, and even encouraged . . . Ultimately, we'll probably see swords, but for now, we are going to see days and events of "tolerance, awareness, experience, and understanding." I'd say it's a safe bet that we won't have days and events promoting the Ten Commandments, Feast Days, or Torah/Messiah, but Islam will be presented publicly because there is no separation of "mosque and state."
Hear the word of YHWH, ye children of Israel: for YHWH hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of Elohim in the land. Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. Hosea 4:1,3

We've Been Played
This past week marked the tenth anniversary of this blog. In ten years, although there have been many changes, some things have remained consistent. This blog continues to be about politics and religion. The politics of this country continue to be a source of division, and the only unity in religious direction of this country seems to be the direction away from our Creator.
I had a "light bulb moment" this week regarding our political parties. Both parties have a targeted audience to which they appeal and a targeted audience on which they cast blame. That seems obvious, of course, but I've discovered the underlying foundation in which the candidates of both parties play the people. There are a few simple facts that we all know. The population of inner cities tend to be primarily black, poor, and democrat. The population of rural America tends to be primarily white, often bigoted, and republican. Both stereotypes are not always true, but the generalization is all the political folks need to keep the wheels turning. So, we've got the foundation for the racial division that makes headlines.
The next obvious division is between business owners and the "working class" formerly known as employees. Business owners used to be part of the working middle class! Some still are, but they are becoming few in number. What has served to divide the inner city and sparsely populated rural America is now used to divide suburbs and mainstreet America. The real difference in this, is a mindset that the politicians play on. Politicians are powerful employees that want to not only maintain their benefits package, but to increase it at the employers expense, a.k.a. "we the people." What used to be business men and farmers taking a few years to serve in Washington and going back to their businesses, land, and facing their constituents has turned into career politicians, and they have virtually no sense of business, production, or economics.
There is a different mindset to get up knowing there is no time clock and no hourly wage or salary. Self-employment has to produce a finished product. There is no A for effort. There is F, not only for fail, but also for incomplete! Business owners take risks, hourly workers can't imagine, or aren't willing to take. On the other hand, good employees are essential to a business. There used to be a real security in being a good employee, on someone else's clock, but that security no longer exists. Business owners, on start up, put in hours that cannot be compensated for, on an hourly scale. Business owners do not start their business with six and seven digit salaries. There are also many hard working people who are underpaid, but for the most part, those workers are in health care and child care, not factories or technical trade. There are many employees who make far from minimum wage, without the headaches of business ownership or management.
Now, what the politicians do; is get these two groups all fired up based upon the extreme foundation already established. The democrats are told if they are not making what the boss is making, they are being oppressed by rich republicans. The republicans are told democrats want to live off their hard work and take their savings and businesses. The reality is, the political machine is regulating businesses into bankruptcy and insolvency, while creating higher costs for what's left of the middle class and the underemployed. They do all this while blaming partisan politics for no job creation. Entrepreneurs create jobs, when they are not regulated into forfeiture. Skilled labor is the backbone of the economy, but skilled labor is only needed when the population needs what skilled labor produces. There is not a business in the world that can exist, only to pay employees and provide benefits. The only entity that does that is our government . . .
What our political process has done is create a symbiotic "imbalance" placing the burden of taxation without the tax breaks of the wealthy or tax credits of the poor, on the dramatically reduced population of what's left of the middle class. Much of the middle class that produced a strong economy was comprised of independent business owners and family companies. This single move that began noticeably in the early 80s has culminated now to the point, Americans literally loathe the "other party" and blame each other economically. Sadly, our leaders knew the root to plant and cultivate, that would divide the people. Even sadder, we have been willing participants. Well played Washington, well played.
For the love of money is the root of all evil . . .

Truth and Lies
Scripture tells us, knowing the truth sets us free, so conversely, accepting lies holds us in bondage . . . Sometimes the very things we hope for and cling to, are nothing more than lies we tell ourselves, or the lies we "choose" to believe from others. I'm not suggesting we're running around intending to lie to ourselves or others, but rather; our society has redefined so much, it's as if the foundation of our culture is held together by a mortar of dishonesty. It has become socially unacceptable to speak truth or to reject lies.
We already know an honest candidate will not be elected to any high office in the land, and on the rare chance it does happen, it's a given, they will either not remain honest or leave politics. Many of us also believe our news is filtered and reports are biased. I believe it was Sarah Palin, or her press agent, who coined the phrase "lame-stream" media in reference to mainstream media. While many have chosen to repeat that ad nauseum, the truth of the matter is, Sarah Palin resigned from her office to become a part of the media . . . the 'lame-stream' mainstream media. That fact alone should cause some to scratch their heads, but instead, it's merely coined a phrase and further divided the political theatre.
When I read that bloggers may be "written out" of free speech or freedom of the press, I decided to plunge headlong into the profession of journalism. I've joined the ranks of alternative news. As more and more alternative news is becoming available, I've been a bit bewildered about something that continues to happen. The mainstream news, although "lame and biased" is still considered "the final word" on information. People have actually told me, they only have one news source, and appear to be quite sure, their source would publish or report anything deemed newsworthy.
My own mother, who is openly disgusted with any news sources beyond her own single source, asked me how I knew my information was accurate. My own mother! We continuously choose to believe what we want to hear. We choose information sources that make us feel good about the views we hold and the opinions we foist upon others. The majority of our society has stopped seeking truth, if we ever did, and have chosen to listen to the reports that reinforce our perspective. Once we realize the information is filtered and biased, it's no longer truth, but mere opinion at best, and programming propaganda at worst.
As our foundation of false security continues to crumble, we need to realize, blame will not work like super glue! Finding the truth, the whole truth is virtually impossible, but it should be getting easier to recognize the spin on the information we are being fed. I'm proud to say, I'm not part of the mainstream media, but I don't choose to call it lame-stream. Media is a power in our society, and as with any earthly power, power is best maintained by telling the people what they want to hear. Whether we're bound to a particular source, a particular party, a particular religion, or a particular perspective; we need not be bound at all!
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. ~ words of Messiah
