The Quest for Truth

Who killed JFK?  Fifty-two years later, I must still admit, I couldn't prove my suspicions beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law, but I have discovered and can prove dishonest governing is nothing new, and media cover-up, is far from recent history.

According to wikipedia.  The first radio news program was broadcast August 31, 1920 by station 8MK in Detroit, Michigan, which survives today as all-news format station WWJ under ownership of the CBS network. The first college radio station began broadcasting on October 14, 1920 from Union College, Schenectady, New York under the personal call letters of Wendell King, an African-American student at the school.^[39]

By 1932 the evidence of media influence in the American politics was already obvious.  With the backdrop of the Great Depression, FDR became the President of the United States on the promise of economic recovery with his New Deal.  The New Deal ultimately proved to discard the gold standard and implement social security.  Also through this time, the condition of President Roosevelt's health was closely guarded.  That is not to say he kept his paralysis a secret, but the secret service men were known to grab cameras and rip out film, press passes not withstanding.  The images of FDR definitely downplayed his disability, and now as digital history is being explained, the press simply had more important things to cover than the health of the US President . . .

I guess my point for including the leadership and press from the 30's, it appears, historically speaking, once news went beyond the written word, appearance and influence became entwined with journalism.  Whether FDR's handicap was hidden or downplayed, it was not considered to be information for the general population.  Whether the media was kept from covering or covering up . . . again, we now have digital history to tell us what we are to believe.  The 1970 World Book entry of Franklin Delano Roosevelt dedicated all of about 4 paragraphs to the polio, in the lengthy entry covering a number of pages.  In his campaigning, he used braces and a cane.  There's no indication that he hid the fact he'd had polio, but he did attempt to walk or stand in most of his public appearances.  The wheelchair was relegated to the private background, behind the scenes of speeches and photo ops.

Radio and newspapers were the only source of news, and radio was relatively new.  The media, even back then established what would be the political information for the general population.  The press secretaries and the secret service determined the photos that would appear.  My point is certainly not to disrespect President Roosevelt nor even infer that a disability should be held against him or anyone, but rather to demonstrate the power of the government and the media to contain and filter what the people can know.  FDR was elected 21 years before the assassination of JFK.  This control of the media, or media control has been going on a very long time!

I just can't help but wondering.  Are we free, because "they" tell us we're free?  Are we only kidding ourselves to think we are informed?  Will the Warren Commission Report stand throughout time, as a tribute to our gullibility?  How many lies have "they" told us?  How many lies have we chosen to believe?

 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth . . . that they should believe a lie:  From a New Testament letter to an early democracy.

Again with Redefinition

I often get a preview of what's coming down the pike and this redefinition of good and evil has been right in front of me, my entire life, becoming more blatant in recent years.  I grew up in a home that was quite confusing by definition.  I now refer to my childhood not just as "white was black and black was white, but purple was green and orange was blue . . .  To put it mildly, I grew up confused.

I was born in the late 50s to teenagers who told me how scary the world was and how different it was from when they were growing up.  Actually, Daddy didn't do that so much, but he backed everything Mom said.  One, the stories they told me about kidnappings etc. happened before they were even born, and two, they weren't even grown when I was born.  Even in all the fear-mongering which my mother is still "family famous" for, I knew deep down, this was a control tactic.  Protection / control was my first taste of redefinition.  Appearance and reality was my next taste of redefinition.  Long before it was a social media meme I was introduced to "captivity is safety."  It went on from there, until I was a stupid teenager and made a couple of poor decisions, which resulted in my parents telling me they would never trust me again.  Now, at 57 over 20 years in ministry, they still don't, so enough energy spent there.  It has taught me, though to understand redefinition and value those who do not plant fear and do offer a mutually trusting relationship.

Moving along, I have come to realize many terms can be used to offer negative or positive implication, and quite often be very misleading.  When first coming to social media, I got a real taste of appropriate vs. inappropriate and some were lessons for my behavior and some were red flags for me, regarding the behavior of others.  After following along a particular saga of lost keys, I discovered the "victim" used the term "stalking" to describe my following in that particular situation.  Notice both victim and stalking are in quotes.  I now tend to keep my comments limited to three on any thread, with the exception of a few folks.  Of course going from yahoo groups to forum boards to now this social media, I did have some cyber manners to acquire.  Hopefully, I have, for the most part.  The funny thing about this individual who referred to me as stalking her posts, ended up unfriending me, blocking me, and now follows me . . . (need emoticon here)

Grandkids are awesome for getting the real scoop on life.  I was enjoying their visits on school breaks, especially when their mom was single and branching out socially.  As it turns out, when mom didn't need a babysitter, g-ma was informed indirectly that she was "monopolizing" the grandchildren's time.  Great vocabulary . . . serpentine definition.  That one hit kind of hard, but it was preparing me for the redefinitions that were yet to come.

In the past few years, many acquaintances have done what they can to make sure the exact location of the homestead is in a google search and on GPS.  It doesn't matter what I say . . . at any rate, one woman came to visit and wanted to learn all about everything I do.  I'm not a teacher and made that clear, but was more than happy to show her how easy it is to have a home based business in an extra bedroom.  Since I have a soap and natural health business, my product is made in batches.  Each soap batch yields about 30 bars of soap which means "inventory."  Since it takes nearly two months to cure I do try to stay a bit ahead.  I don't want to have to turn down an order or keep track of back orders.  I was certainly taken aback by her comment, as the "tour" was completing.  She voiced her appreciation for showing her my "hoarding room."  I can assure you, the very last thing any business person wants to do is "hoard" inventory.  The whole point of business is to keep product moving OFF the shelves.

As an internet journalist, I do try keep abreast of current events, folks seeking their 15 minutes of fame, and align that with where we are in the fulfillment of prophecy, as well as publishing the Good News and sounding the warning to repent.  I was speaking with one of my daughters about my distress over the Bruce Jenner deal regarding the impact on young people.  She, who took her teens to a Gay Pride Parade last year, publishing photos on FB mentioned she just didn't make time for the gossip and check stand magazines.  My first thought was to be offended at her intentional barb, but then I realized, she's chosen a path of the majority that appears to blind them as to what is really unfolding.  Bruce Jenner's need for attention doesn't concern me nearly as much as the fact our nation is choosing to rebel openly against the Word of our Creator, both in sexual perversion and blatant pride.  The fact that parents are actually introducing this to their children, is mind boggling.  How many of our young people will be confused and misled by this atrocity?  Being aware and sounding the warning has become socially synonymous with the term "gossip?"  How truly sad.

I was well aware, at least pretty sure, that we wouldn't just one day awaken in "Backward World" calling good evil and evil good, but the method seems far from subtle as the meanings of words are twisted in such a serpentine way!

Pandemic Invasion ?

I've done several blogs through the years on the subject of TSA, a.k.a. Transportation Security Administration.  Through the years, my blogs have mostly been tongue in cheek, but sincerely expressing my disdain for this outrageous display of control.  I was first introduced to TSA in 2002 going to Washington DC.  Since it was the first year after 9/11 and the Capital, I did my best to cut them some slack.  I mean, paranoia in high places, did reign supreme at the time.

It was eighteen months later, when doing a bit of international traveling, my skepticism rose.  By the time I returned from my travels and headed to the City of Brotherly Love later that same year, skepticism gave way to outright cynicism and disgust.  It became obvious that this was really not about safety at all, but seeing how much the sheople would tolerate in submission.  When my underwires held up the line at KCI, I was asked if I wanted to be groped privately.  My statement was simple.  "No thank you, do it here, I want witnesses!"  It was at that moment, I knew, I would choose a public strip search, rather than submit to their private molestation policy.  It was also at that moment, I made the choice to never put myself in that position again!

Since retiring my passport and no longer racking up any frequent flier miles, I've continued to monitor the outrageous policies of the TSA, and the horrific acts of invasion and violence this agency has perpetrated in airports.  What has been consistent is the "introduction" of further invasive procedures, the backlash, the "simmer down time" then the implementation of the invasive procedure while dangling a carrot or tossing a crumb to the willing throngs . . .  I had a dream several years ago that I knew was of spiritual significance.  I thought the "herding" was done in a mall setting, but now after seeing some of the photos of this latest security measure, I'm wondering if that dream atmosphere was not a mall, but an airport.

We've gone from walking through the metal detectors, emptying pockets and removing coats and shoes to, manual pat downs and seriously invasive body searches, to technological strip search, and now to temperature checks.  I watched the person ahead of me in an airport go right on through in their burqa, no questions asked, no pat down, no nothing.  With only their eyes showing, they could have been anyone!  Actually, there was really no indication that it was even a woman . . . I pondered that fact, through my underwire patdown.

Perhaps Americans traveling back into the US would be less inconvenienced if they simply flew into Mexico and walked on in.  One of my snarkier blogs actually suggested combining health care and airport security.  It was a warning, not a recommendation!

We are seriously looking at fulfillment of judgment for not heeding the warning of our Creator.

Isolated Incidents

Reports of police brutality, common core programming, school lunch insanity, and denial of health care coverage, are all being presented like isolated incidents, yet these isolated reports cover most of the contiguous US on a pretty regular basis.

I literally do not know what to do to stop this on a national level, but I can do something locally.  Every incident further divides our nation.

Much of the power grab in Germany began in medicine, a.k.a. health care.  As I've read the atrocities that began as medical experiments or disease control, I can't help but see a correlation.  Of course, digital history and revision will play a part as well, but we really are heading into a society that will seek the solutions of man to be "saved."

The concern I have, now, is the fact that we have access to world wide information, and that somehow seems to cushion the fact that these seemingly isolated incidents are really at our own back doors already.  After reading about the authorities throwing the children's lunches away, I began to really contemplate just how far this could go, and . . . how far it's already gone.  The heaviness is nearly overwhelming.

I called the local school in my area, and they have a program in which donations can be made specifically for families who make too much to qualify for free or reduced, but sometimes fall a bit short.  Whether this new program and the headline are a manipulative coincidence or an opportunity, I don't know and I don't care.  I cannot just read, report, blog and stand by, when the words of Martin Niemoller are coming to mind so often.

I realize this parallel may not necessarily set well with everyone, but Messiah fed thousands and healed many.  Remember He was politically accused as a dissident against "The Empire."  He was the son of a "trade" carpenter.  He clearly was a Jew . . .
