I Was Wrong!

When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong. I used to think mothers that relinquished custody of their children were just about the lowest life form in the country, but . . . I was wrong. Sometimes these mothers simply do not have the funds to feed the lawyers to keep the custody battle raging. Sometimes these mothers put up with hostile kids griping, complaining, and throwing fits, about wanting to live with their Disneyland Dad. Sometimes these mothers are faced with a man choosing to pay an attorney rather than his child support. Now with that being said, let's move on to the lower life forms. Lower than women that give up physical custody of their kids are the deadbeat dads that neglect their responsibility while demanding their rights. Oh, they have plenty of money for the latest fads and entertainment, but they just don't seem to be able to earn or keep track of the child support that is owed. They are also usually the ones that determine that the money wouldn't be spent properly . . . like it's their call anyway. But then, usually, these deadbeat dads were either married or at least lived with their child's mother, so all he has to do is look in the mirror to know, his ex doesn't always make the best decisions . . . But lower still than these self-aggrandizing fathers of the year, are the bottom feeding attorneys that represent them. I can't name names, because well it's not that I'm concerned about a law suit, there are just so many of these attorneys around. They have no trouble "representing" squabbling parents and depositing what could be college tuition for the children caught in the mess, into their account. At any rate, sometimes single mothers just can't afford to keep feeding the legal frenzy, and more often than not, some deadbeat loser dad can find some new woman to believe he's completely wonderful and his ex lives to make his life miserable; but there is no excuse for a bottom feeder lawyer. On that, I am not wrong.
He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears. a Proverb of Holy Scripture
